The Matt Talbot Group 142 Men's Spiritual Retreat offers an opportunity to be away from the distractions of daily living for a couple of days in order to devote time to spiritual recovery from alcoholism. Our retreat brings together a group of men, who are recovering alcoholics, in a setting that promotes fellowship and sharing throughout the weekend. Limited partial scholarships are available to those who might otherwise be unable to attend.

  Our retreat is held at the Blowing Rock Conference Center in Blowing Rock, NC. Set in the picturesque Blue Ridge Mountains, the BRCC offers comfortable lodging, hot meals, friendly staff and meeting spaces that are perfect for helping our retreat be the best it can be.

    MTG142 believes that all men in recovery can benefit greatly from a spiritual retreat, and we work hard to keep costs down so that more men can attend. A limited number of partial scholarships are also made available by the generosity of our fellow members. 

The current costs for the Men's Retreat are based on room type:

• A Private Room is $250 for the weekend
• A Shared Room is $190 per person for the weekend
• Bunk Rooms (3 people per room, 2 connecting rooms) are $140 per person for the weekend

Rates include your 2 night stay, towels & linens and 5 freshly prepared meals. We no longer add the PayPal fee to the room cost!

   A limited number of full & partial scholarships are made available by the generosity of our fellow members.  These scholarships help men who might otherwise miss the Retreat due to costs. Applications will be considered on a case by case basis.

Scholarship applications should be submitted by no later than two (2) weeks prior to the Retreat for consideration.
